Dronevision

A Dronevision, DV, is a 3D display to design and implement next generation multimedia applications using Flying Light Specks, FLSs. It envisions shrinking today’s room sized robotics laboratories to the size of a cuboid that fits on a user’s desk for multimedia content creation and rendering. Figure shows a DV setup configured for visual display only. Its top consists of wireless chargers accessible to FLSs via the opening at the top. The video shows a scheduling technique that organizes the FLSs into a flight pattern to navigate through the opening in an orderly and collision-free manner.
